About Us

The Theresa Sondra Jacobs Foundation (TSJ) is a nonprofit organization established in 2017 to honor the legacy of Theresa “Terry” Jacobs, a beloved educator who inspired generations through her passion for art, creativity, and learning. TSJ reimagines STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) education by delivering immersive, mobile, and emotionally resonant learning experiences directly to communities—especially underserved schools, rural areas, and pediatric hospitals.

Through groundbreaking platforms like i-ARTS (Interactive Robotics Teaching System), TSJ uses teleoperated robotics, AI, and holography to deliver personalized, high-impact instruction. Our Mobile STEAM Labs—including the Eco-Crest and themed vehicles—turn public spaces into mobile classrooms, blending storytelling with real-world skills. FutureQuest, our upcoming immersive career discovery center, guides students and veterans through hands-on explorations of 17 career pathways.

Whether through traveling exhibits, educator-designed curricula, or community partnerships, TSJ is redefining what learning can look like—equitable, creative, and unforgettable.
